Metavante delivers a comprehensive Benefits Payment System (BPS) that supports any and all tax-advantaged healthcare accounts - HSAs, FSAs, and HRAs - and other employer-sponsored benefit accounts such as transportation/parking and dependent care. BPS offers open integration to existing health plan and claims administration systems as required, and includes our industry leading multi-purse Benefits Card. We offer BPS and the Benefits Card as a hosted solution and enable you to brand and configure the functionality based on your specific requirements. This approach minimizes your up-front investment, and allows you to select any or all of the services we offer based on your unique situation.

Metavante has more than 2.8 million healthcare payment cards in the market and serves over 200 administrator and health plan partners with our multi-purse Benefits Card and BPS. We are the largest benefit debit card provider in the industry and backed by over 40 years of payment technology experience.

Our Benefits Payment System can operate as a standalone solution encompassing all functionality you need - or the modular structure of the solution enables you to select a specific configuration to complement your current claims administration system. If you currently utilize a software provider for your claims administration solution, Metavante has already integrated with several administrative software vendor partners.

Metavante also has the most flexible and customizable funds management solution on the market. We do not require any pre-funding or require you to move funds to a designated bank account.

Our robust rules-based substantiation engine and cutting-edge multi-purse technology also make Metavante’s Benefits Payment System the right choice. Currently, we have relationships with over 60 third-party substantiation vendors, including Pharmacy Benefit Managers (PBMs) and various online and retail pharmacies. Our established relationships ensure that you can easily substantiate co-pays, recurring expenses, OTC transactions, and much more.
